My laptop shuts down only when hooked to AC power! That means my batteriy is bad? It's only 2 months old!

In what way was it unsuccessful? Did it just not update or is the system now unable to boot?
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Probably not. You should contact Official Toshiba Technical Support by phone to see about getting it repaired under warranty. See the Warranty Link at the top of this page.

Someone from Toshiba please contact me regarding the BIOS and how I should go about getting this updated if that's the problem. It's happening more frequently now. This is urgent!!
