The battery of my laptop might have been replaced at the service point (I know, sounds incredible).

Is there any way to verify that the one I have currently is the one I got with laptop when I bought it?

Maybe somehow with serial numbers on laptop an battery?

Unless you wrote down the battery serial number before the service, no.

Look on the battery for a brand name and/or part number. We can probably all look online for it. That may give us/you some insight.
