Should I charge my batteries using 220v or 110v?

I just received my Satellite L305-S5933 from the US.  I'm in the Philippines, can i plug this into a 220v or do i need a 110v transformer?

Power Specs:
75W (19V x 3.95A) 100-240V AC Adapter

I think you've answered your own question, no?

The AC adapter will work fine with just a plug adapter.

Thanks... the AC does state those specs... but the end of the cord at the end of plug has a labeled tag, "175V".  This quite made me hesitant to plug it to a 220v. Does this mean that I should just trust the specs in the "black box" and disregard the tag?

Sorry, can't help you with Toshiba's contradictory labels.  I'd go with what's printed on the brick, but you might want to play it safe and see if Customer Support might shed some light on it.

I checked my Tecra, which is fairly new, and I didn't see a tag.  On the AC part of the cord it was printed 300V.

I have seen a few Toshibas, and have never seen the tag.  Are you sure someone didn't switch the cord?

Strange.  Call Toshiba to be sure.
