I re-installed windows XP after formatting, while my recovery CDs were not being recognized.

Now I am not able to install the driver so that he Fn keys can function properly.

What happened when you tried to restore using the recovery discs?

What happens when you try to install a driver?

As the virus spoiled my system so I had to format.  After which the CDs were giving error that these are not for this system "wrong machine".

Then I tried another Windows XP installation which was succesful.

but the driver for Fn keys does not work as a result I am unable to use my Wireless Network card.

It gives error message when the computer is powered on.

Run this utility to correct the DMI string and then try the proper recovery discs again.
