Try re-installing the Webcam Driver.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Go to Device Manager, uninstall the WebCam, then restart the system to have Windows automatically re-install it. This quite often solves the problem.

I have a Satellite L305D-S5934 and just recently upgraded to Windows 7 from Vista. I've looked and the drives for the assistant program dont exist for this model for windows 7. Please, please make the drives for the assistant program so we can have full use of our cameras. Thank you very much. And as for using the camera with a chat program like AOL MSN or Yahoo! go in a unistall the drives restart the comp and try it then it should work that way till Toshiba gets the drivers revamped for windows 7 for this make and model of Satellite.

I have an L305D-S5934 just upgraded to Windows 7 and the camera seems to work only with Skype. The Camera Assistant does not exist for W7 and the Vista version does not install. I have also tried a number of AR5007EG Wireless LAN drivers and the Wireless interface does not work at all reliably. I am very disappointed in the reliability for Toshiba drivers so I backed up to Vista since everything seems to work.
