64 bit problems

I just purchased a Toshiba Portege R600-S4201.

During set up it asked me if I wanted to go with 32 bit or 64 bit.  Being somewhat of a novice on this, I assumed that 64 would be better.

However, having gone with 64 bit none of the games that normally comes with the computer will work (it shows zero games).  Also, I'm having trouble with some other programs (LOGOS Bible Software) that I'm assuming is connected with the 64bit choice I made.

I have another Toshiba laptop that has had none of these problems, but only came with the 32 bit option.  It also had a full package of games (e.g. Spider Solitair, Texas Holdem, etc.).

What should I do?  Is this fixable? Is there a way I can do a "redo" and ask for the 32 bit setup?

Thanks for your help,

Denny

Re: 64 bit problems

Try restoring the system to it's out of box state.  Then when you restart the system it should give you the option to select 32bit.  If not, you'll probably need to send it in to Toshiba to have it changed.
