To all:
I just discovered 2 powerful Neodymium-Iron-Boron magnets hidden inside my Toshiba 4 port USB hub, part number PA3627U-1ETC.
These magnets can affect magnetic media, such as the hard disk USB drives which I left unknowingly next to the hub.
I removed the 2 magnets from the hub, so they cannot affect magnetic media. The covers can be snapped off with the fingernail.
Please be aware of this potential problem.
I cannot afford any risk to my backup USB drives.
