I am tring to fix a customer's Satellite P105-S6197 running Vista Home Premium and the function keys and the sound do not work.  Can someone help me here, please.  I thank you in advance.  ROP

Have you tried reinstalling utilities/drivers?

This one for the Fn keys.

   Toshiba Value Added Package for Windows Vista

for the audio, try both of these.

   Conexant Audio Driver for Windows Vista (Version 4.8.0.0 - Released 01/05/07)

   Conexant Audio Driver for Windows Vista (Version 4.8.0.0 Logo r2 - Released 12/21/06)

I have tried the Toshiba Value Package for Vista that you had told another person and it did not work.  I haven't downloaded the utilities/driver as you said to do.  Is that one in the same with as Value Package?  If not, what is the URL for them, please.  I will try the Conexant downloads tomorrow.  THANKS - - RON

They are not all the same, Ron. Check for which computers are supported.

The P105-S6197 was NOT on that list.  What utility package should I download and is there any other Value Package I should try for Vista?  Sorry about this, I'm usually self sufficient.  THANKS - - ROP
