How do you get a wndows System disc for nb205-311/W? Need to re-load Windows but don't have disc...

My nb205-311/W crashed and I need to re-load Windows, but don't have a disc. Does anyone know if the laptop comes with one? Don't remember there being one in the box.

 

Does anyone know where I can get one? I cannot find any way to actually contact Toshiba to request one.

They don't come with a physical disk these days, and haven't for several years.  They come with a app to create them from a hidden partition on the hard drive, but that also requires an external USB DVD Burner.  Otherwise you can go to this post to find out how to order replacement media.

try pressing "0" while powering up the machine.  that's "zero"

 

In theory this should boot from the recovery partition.

That info begins on page 47 of your User's Guide found on the hard drive in Adobe Acrobat Format or available via download from the Product Support Link at the top of this page.  My net connection was slow and I couldn't ge the guide to download earlier to find that.

 

And your model number is actually NB205-N311/W.
