Laptop doesn't respond to F2, F12, during bios splash screen

Hello, my name is Forest and I have a Toshiba Satelite L305D-S5934

Alright so starting about 3-4 days ago, my laptop started reufusing to use the bootloader included in the Bios.
AND about on that 3-4 says ago I believe I deleted my windows 7 OS on a partition of my hard drive that was not the prime partition. (My prime partition being Vista Home Premium 86x) Now for something interesting, if I use no input (press a key) on my computer for 30 seconds, I get brought to the windows OS selecter (which happens to include windosw 7 even though it doesn't exist. I can boot into Vista fine no problem, but windows 7 requires the install disc, which I seem to always have trouble burning to a disc. (I installed it on the seperate partition with a virtual drive).

Okay, so now that I've told you my life story, I'll tell you what I want to happen now:
I would like to be able to select the BIOS bootloader (which gives me the options of HDD,CD,USB etc.)
and I would like the "partition that doesn't exist containing windows 7" to be gone.

I purchesed my laptop around January and I check the warrenty and it's going to last until December 26 2009.

So now, please tell me what you believe are the appropiate proceedures for fixing it.

Should I sent it into Toshiba to have it fixed? Or Geek squad?

Thank you for your time.

Re: Laptop doesn't respond to F2, F12, during bios splash screen

Okay, that got half of what I wanted done.

I got rid of the "invisible" windows 7 partition.

But, I still have to wait 30 seconds without pressing a key to boot into vista, and I my bios splash screen doesn't respond to any key input.

So, I think I may still need to send it in.

Unless you can tell me a way of how to run a live CD from startup without me having to take out my hard drive.

Thank you so much sir, I greatly appreciate your help.

Unless someone else has an idea you'll probably be better sending it in.  Geek squad will either charge you for the repair or charge you to send it to Toshiba for warranty repair so don't even bother with them.  Click on the Warranty Link at the top of this page to see where you can take it into locally or send it to.
