Where is not being recognized? Have you gone into the bios to see if it shows up there? You must be a LOT more specific with your information for us to be able to diagnose this.
Also, what OS are you trying to install and how are you performing a clean install, cloning the old hard drive to this new one, or using the Toshiba Recovery Disks to do this?
