I have a new mini notebook NB205-311/w I want to shut off mouse pad using Fn + F9 and still be able to type in Microsoft works. Unfortunately it shuts off the entire keyboard and I can't type in any text. Solution anyone?
Thanks,
CherAnn

Fn + F9 ... shuts off the entire keyboard
That's really peculiar, CherAnn. It may be a hardware malfunction.
In case it's a software glitch, try reinstalling this.

Try turning off the touchpad, then use the ALT key and the TAB key, hold down ALT while pressing TAB to switch to the text window...
Maybe the window just doesn't have focus after the fn+F9 keys.
