i have a satellite L300 in february. it was working great until about 2 months ago. I'll start the computer, put my password in, wait for it to finish it's thing and then it freezes. and when it's not frozen it wont let me go on the internet. It says unidentifed network/limited access. it's connected to the router but wont connect to the internet pretty much. NEED HELP!!!!!

Which Satellite L300?

all the laptop says is satellite L300 System Unit.

What is the PART Number?  It should look something like this:  PSLB0U-07K02D

There should be a label on the bottom with the part number.

It's a variation of the one above. Probably made for some big-box retailer. All of the Toshiba drivers and utilities here should work.

Do you have Windows Vista on that computer? Which version?

Did you run the System File Checker I recommended?

Give me the exact name and service-pack level.

Get those by running About Windows (winver.exe).

Mine, for example, says this.

   Windows Vista Ultimate

   Version 6.0 (Build 6002: Service Pack 2)
