So the 'G' key popped off my new Satellite laptop. When I try to re-attach, it seems to snap in place ok but will pop off after a click or two. I'm thinking perhaps the hinge piece is broken and not attaching like it should. I call tech support only to be told I have to ship my laptop off to a repair depot for a couple of weeks! For a popped key!?! I can see if it was a bad drive or something like that but they can't ship me a replacement key and hinge piece? What a joke! I will likely find a local repair shop and spring for the repair myself. Great laptop, sucky tech support. Oh well, at least I could understand the support person. I've had instances where that wasn't even possible.
