I just got a new satellite L55d_S7909 laptop and im not sure how to turn on the keyboard backlight or if it even has one i would really be happy if someone could help me. Much thanks

Possibly the L555D-S7909?  I don't see anything about it having a lighted keyboard in the specs.

Thanks for your help. I had seen it say keyboard backlight in my book under power mode settings so I thought I had it but its ok. I really appreciate your help

Which book?  You might want to check the User's Guide to see if that explains how to turn it on and off (assuming that it is a feature on that laptop).  The user's guide is on your hard drive in Adobe Acrobat Format or can be downloaded from the Product Support Link at the top of this page.

Thats the one I seen it. I found the user guide on here. I just thought I would see if anyone knew anything about it. Its all good I dont really need it since I dont use my computer in the dark.
