Keyboard not working correctly

I have L355D-S7815 Laptop, my space key is a ; my v key is v4 and c goes to find and replace, I have deleted everything and rebooted with recovery discs and it still does not work correctly, is there anything else I can try before I take to the so called experts, warranty expired 9/26.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Keyboard not working correctly

I think I'm going crazy.  There are several key strokes that seem to act like hyperlinks.  I'm typing along, and all of a sudden the curser has changed positions on the page.  I have to search to find where it is and bring it back to the line i'm working on?

Re: Keyboard not working correctly

I have the same problem on my Satellite L505 S6956  When I use the @ symbol I get a double quotation "

When I do a double quotation "  I get the @ symbol.  As a writer I use quotations frequently and this is no good.  I only got the laptop today so am disappointed to find a problem in the first five minutes!   Do Toshiba read these forums?
