I know this is a common problem, I've read about it but I still can't deal with this problem
okay, so
my multimedia touch buttons above function buttons on my Toshiba Satellite P300-1GQ (some PSPCCE model no.) don't work and I can't find out the solutions for this problem. It freaks me out, it still has warranty and this happened for no reason. I don't understand.
Please help

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling this Toshiba utility.
Toshiba Value Added Package for Windows Vista 32 Bit, 1.1.35, 07/05/09
If that doesn't do the trick, look through the utilities here and try another. (In Windows XP it was the Controls utility.)

thank you, Jerry, but i tried that and it didn't work. I looked through everything, and I still didn't find the solutions.
Maybe it's a hardware problem. If I have warranty, will they fix it for free or give me a new one?

I don't know for sure, but I rather doubt it.
They would probably restore the hard drive's contents to factory-new and it will no doubt work just fine. You can do that yourself.
