Hey everyone...I tried the uninstall TVAP thing and my number pad still doesn't work. Ugh! I don't want to exchange it because that means I have to reinstall ALL my programs and setup stuff.... Ugh!

Ok...I'm confused...I don't know what I'm supposed to do. You're talking to a lamen here :-)
As you said regarding knowing about BIOS settings and whatnot...I'm panicking!

@andrus25:
Sorry for that!
Give me a few minutes, and I'll make you a guide. I'll post a link to it here in this thread shortly.
In the meantime, please download the following files:
Note: If you already have a program for burning ISO (bootable disc) images to CD/DVD, don't worry about downloading and installing the ISO Recorder program. I use it, and that's what my instruction guide will show, but it's not mandatory by any means. I like the program very much and use it quite a bit, but with any 3rd-Party software, you should feel comfortable before downloading and installing it. If you have favorite program, by all means, use it instead.
The guide I'm going to make will cover the installation and use of the Toshiba utility, but not the ISO Recorder program. If you want to use it, you'll need to initiate and complete the installation after downloading the appropriate file.

FYI, the link to the installer I posted is for the P505-8960, PSPE8U. The process for updating it is practically identical, but you should double check to find the BIOS for your exact model, if it isn't the same.

Hi,
The same thing happened to my keyboard on the A500/03u model. The num lock turned off permanently. I even reformated my computer to fix it, but does not do the job.
This worked for me:
Hold "FN" key and press "Num Lock" couple of times until it lights up again.
Then the num lock key works as normal again.
Not sure why, but it worked for me.
Hope this helps...

Well...since originally posting my issue, I have since returned the laptop and purchased an HP and I am very happy now! I wish you luck with your Toshiba's.
Regardless...happy holidays to everyone and I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful.
