the driver of the Wi-Fi card driver (intel 3945 a/b/g) is installed but when i do a search for wifi networks nothing comes up even if the access point is next to me. i have Win Xp Pro SP3

any help?????

Can you connect with an Ethernet cable?

Open Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and expand Network adapters. Do you see an Intel or Atheros wireless device? If so, which one? Double-click that and tell us what Device status is.

1. Did you turn on your wifi with the switch on the right side of A100-811?

2. There is a function key to switch between Bluetooth and / or Wi-Fi. Fn key + F8
