I have had this laptop for a few months now and the wireless has worked great until now.  My current problem lies only when connected by the wireless connection but not when connected with a cable.  I for some reason cannot access any HTTPS websites although nothing in the settings have changed.  I can access them though the wired connection which is no longer available at my location.  I have reinstalled the wireless card driver and even verified my settings using my buddies laptop.  He is able to access HTTPS websites and we are connected to the same internet.  Also certain programs work like updates, skype and yahoo messenger but world of warcraft does not. I have tried everything from the firewall to antivirus and nothing still works. I really need help for I am out of ideas.

It sure smells to me like a security program is getting in the way. Pull on that string again.
