Can not connect to password-protected WiFi

[ Edited ]

I try to repair the WiFi connection but it can't because the IP address can't be renewed.  How can I renew the IP address?  DO I have to reinstall TCP/IP?

Re: Can not connect to password-protected WiFi

Open a command prompt.  Type in   netsh winsock reset   and hit enter.  Restart the system when prompted.  This should correct the problem.  If not, let us know.

It did not work.  I don't get the error message when trying to connect anymore.  Now I have limited or no connectivity.

Re: Can not connect to password-protected WiFi

I've installed the Intel PROSet drivers on my Satelite.  Now I get an error message saying my Adapter has no drivers installed.  The wireless adapter (Atheros) drivers are installed but do I need to also install the FreeConfig program, too?

Re: Can not connect to password-protected WiFi

I've installed the drivers and client for my laptop, but I still get an error when I boot my PC saying the adapter drivers aren't installed.
