Can't connect to internet with my satellite a505-s6980

I just bought this computer the other day, with windows 7 installed in it.  I use my neighbors wireless internet network (i help pay for it) I couldn't get on it the frist 2 days, then somehow i got on it for a day.  Now its not letting me back on it again.  When i try it seems to not even connect the the network at all.  No internet or anything.  I try to connect with a differnt wireless network, like a unserued one, and it won't connect me on that either!! Im so confused.. Is there some thing in windows 7 i have to change or even on my wifi settings or something??? please help!

Re: Can't connect to internet with my satellite a505-s6980

I had a problem connecting to the Internet yesterday via ethernet cable with my brand new out-of-the-box Satellite L515-S4960. Instead of Toshiba, I called my Internet Service Provider who informed me that my cable modem is set only to work with one IP address at a time (my home desktop) and that I had to unplug my modem and then plug it back in, which automatically resets the IP address to the next computer you plug the ethernet cable into (my brand new Toshiba, in this case). I tried this and was on-line immediately. So my out-of-the-box Satellite did everything it was supposed to. I give Toshiba 10 stars out of 10. Thanks Toshiba, I'll be back to buy more.
