Do your troubleshooting with the wired (Ethernet) connection. It sounds offhand like an ISP problem.

Dear Jerry...........
Myself as well is in the IT feild it' not an ISP problem...........however when i did the deivce listing just to see if there is any network drivers and devices installed.........there was not any, on seeign that i went to TOSHIBA website to download a driver or a software that could fix this problem.......i did i downloaded a cngifree software along with a relatek driver (LAN) software and wifi driver as well...........went back to the divice litsing saw the drivers but they had the exclamation mark at them hower it says that the deivce is working properly two days ago when turning on the machine it says (windows is trying to install a Ethernet Controller) which i would have thought was installed already i had searched the computer for the driver/software it couldt find it. When i opened the config free software and ask it to seach for wireless activity the message im gettign is that the wireless device is disabled when i switched on the wireless it still saying the same thing and Im up to MY neck with problem its a brand new Laptop which my Aunt just brought down and it is giving so much problem already **bleep**

You're saying that there is difficulty with both the Ethernet and the wireless devices? That's quite a coincidence!
The correct Ethernet driver is this one.

I recommend that you get that going first. Use the information here.

And see the section Connecting to the Internet on p. 118 of your User's Guide.
