First time user please be patient.  It has been a few months since I have used my wireless - but it has been excellent up until today.  Now I get a big red X on my connection to wireless and the message below appears from the WiFi Protected Setup:

This computer failed to connect.

Fatal error (Error 162).  Failed to

Initialize COM component.

Cris, open Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and expand Network adapters. Do you see the Atheros wireless device there? If so, double-click it and tell us what Device status says.

Can't hurt to reinstall the driver.
