My parents bought this laptop from WalMart two days ago. Since we got it out of the box, the wireless card (or something else network-related) has been hanging during start-up. The wireless icon on the task bar is unresponsive and pretty much any app that attempts to access a network will lock up (internet explorer, norton, and even explorer on the Network and Sharing Center window is unresponsive). The only solution I've found so far is to reboot the computer until it doesn't hang. It'll boot up successfully maybe 25% to 50% of the time, and when it does work, there are no network issues whatsoever. My other laptop has no issues connecting to our home network.
Unless we get an easy and quick solution to this problem, I'll just have them exchange the laptop at WalMart.

Probably best to exchange a new machine. If you want to fiddle around reinstall the driver.
