Hi I have a toshiba satellite pro L10.
I reformatted the laptop yesterday using WINXP PRO and i am unable to see the wireless driver in device manager.
If i click on the on the Network adapters button i can only see the Fast Ethernet NIC Driver.
I have been on the toshiba website and downloaded the drivers for the wireless driver - no joy.
in the device manager i have an exclamation mark on Network controller and PCI modem - would this causing the problem.
Please can somone help.
The wireless was working perfectly before the formatting took place.

Which Satellite Pro L10? And what's the part number?
The model looks something like Satellite Pro L10-222. The part number looks something like PSL15E-00Z018EN.
I reformatted the laptop yesterday using WINXP PRO
You installed a retail version?

Satellite Pro L10 ... PSL15E-00l01791
Looks something like this one?
Satellite Pro L10-135 ( PSL15E-00F0179I)
I reformatted the laptop..
would it make a difference if it is a retail version.
Some say "reformatted" when they restored the machine to factory-new using Toshiba recovery media. Again, did you restore or install Windows XP Pro?
If you installed Windows, did you pay attention to the order of installation of the Toshiba drivers and utilities?
In any case, this is the correct wireless driver.
