Not much help from Forum

I bought my Toshiba Satellite L505-S6946 on August 17th.  So far, I've gotten no help in the Forum.  I guess my questions just aren't complex enough to warrant assistance.  Good thing I have a Geek Squad close by.

I seriously doubt that you questions aren't complex enough.  It's usually the exact opposite.  SInce there aren't any Official Toshiba Tech Support employees here it's quite possible that none of the volunteer user's know what the answer to your questions are.   The other things that cause posts to not be responded to are:

 

  1. Poorly worded questions.  All to many people ramble on and never explain precisely what their real problem is.
  2. Forgetting to provide the exact model number of the laptop. 
  3. Typing in all caps.  This will quite often get a post ignored.
  4. Poor grammer and punctuation.  This isn't a text message on a cell phone.  If one can't take the time to post a question using proper grammer, punctuation, sentence structure, and spelling many won't waster their time trying to decipher the jumble.

I'm not saying that any of the last four pertain to your request for assistance though as I haven't read it (I've been sick the past few days), but it's something for others to consider when they don't get their questions answered.

  If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.
