Hi!

The x505 is for sale in two models: 830 and 850.

The second one is equipped with SSD and HDD.

question 1: My I replace such SSD for HDD and set RAID 0 for these two HDD?

question 2: the first one (830) is equipped with HDD only - my I use the second bay for SSD or HDD?

question 3: Is there a limitation in SSD size to be installed for this kind of laptops?

I need a desktop replacement for HD editing.

Called Toshiba support for a question regarding exchanging the internal 500Gb HD for an Intel x25-M SSD drive.

They said, I could not replace the HDD for an SDD without voiding the warranty.

Is this true?

I cannot confirm this, because the Toshiba X500 I've ordered wil arrive not before november 23rd.
