Basically, reconditioned means that it has been repaired and certified to be in good working order. Often times it's just a matter of replacing a single componant that failed. These are usually fairly new units that have been sent back for repair or customer returns.
Normal doesn't really apply here, but I'm assuming you mean brand new.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.
