Just want to pass on some good news....
A couple of weeks ago I got a used M200 with a blank hard drive and AC adpater for nothing. Using some imaginiation I was able to get it up and running XP Pro, minus the tablet functionality.
I ordered a recovery DVD, and when it got here I set about trying to do a factory restore... Of course I got hit with the boot DVD compatibility issue, so I dug around on the 'Net and found insturctions for setting up a PXE server....
I got the server up and running on a Vista 64-bit box, but Vista security would not let me connect to my XP Tablet share.... So, I fired up an XP laptop, copied the DVD, shared the folder, and finally did the restore.
The restore finished early last evening and I spent the rest of the night installing MS updates and "playing" with my "new" toy. This is my first Tablet PC, and it is sweet....
