I have an M200 that runs pretty slow....it had a 1000 memory installed last year...not sure if one or two cards installed. Any suggestions for increasing memory and how much total it can handle. Also if not, is it worth upgrading the hard drive and whats the best way to go about this?
Thanks,
Dawn

That system can hold up to 2gigs of ram using two 1gig sticks of Kingston part number KTT3311/1G PC2700 ram.
The hard drive can be upgrade to a 120gb drive for sure, but I'm not 100% certain your system has the required 48bit addressing in the bios to reliably support a drive larger than 137gb's though si I would stick a 120 to be safe. Any 2.5" EIDE laptop internal drive should work, but I normally recommend Western Digital Scorpio Blues for reliabilty reasons.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.
