R500-5006X vs R500-5006V

I ordered one of these for my boss a couple years ago. I'm trying to find some specific documentation on these difference, if any. I want to find another one to have as a back up in case his fails. He has the X model, but I can only find a V model used. Anyone know?

- Click on the PRODUCT SUPPORT link at the top of this page.
- Click on the BLUE TEXT LINK that says SHOW ALL MODELS
- Enter in one of the model numbers
- Click on the DETAILED SPECS tab
- Print or save the PDF file that appears.
Now go do the same thing for the other model. Compare the two to find what differences there are between the two.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

The first one comes with Windows XP Pro installed. The second comes with 32-bit Vista Business installed and the recovery media for XP Pro.
Otherwise, they look the same. Check the specs by clicking on the links above.
