hi, i'm new and dont have a lot of exp, so i hope any answers will be non tech speak. i'm building a 7140ct laptop w 6gb hd/ 64mb ram. win98 is installed. all works fine... except  1) only get 16 colors; supposedto be 16.7 mil. where did i go wrong? res slider is non func. only choice is between 2 and 16 colors. 2) unit sees usb hardware fine , but can't see flash drives. i'm building this to display photos , so colors wd be most helpful. any help greatly appreciated...thanx
