To start out with i love this qosmio it is the best laptop i have ever bought. Now here is what i upgraded.
the monitor from 1440X900 to 1650X1080
the graphics card from 9700M to 9800M GTX
X2 500GB Hard Drives
8GB of ram
and upgraded the processor to T7600 2.8GHZ dual core
but now my problems lies with overheating... i can only play a game for about 20 minutes then my lappy goes down to a draggin slow that doest speed back up until after i give it time to cool off... i was wondering if there is a special heat sink for this lappy because the GTX gen's up so much heat? any help would be much appreciated

1) Check drivers if you haven't
2) In my own experiance having 2 HD's (both 7200RPM) Make the heat skyrocket for the main hard drive and it still but not much if one is a 7200RPM and a 5400RPM. Try taking one of the 7200RPM's off and play a game and see if that's whats going on.
8 GB shouldnt be any problem with heat.

thank you very much for the response... i opened my lappy back up and figured out what i did wrong... i looked at my 9700 and notices that there was coolant put on the sticky stuff as well as that gpu... so i went ahead and ordered some artic silver (cpu coolant as well as adhesive coolant) from newegg and ill keep you posted on how it goes from there.

You'd have to buy the SLi Motherboard version SLi it IMO. The SLi version of the Qosmio uses the same body lines as far as im aware of, (Same guts) just differently placed out. So you'd more than likely have to buy the Motherboard and the 2 GPU's Separately (or in the case the motherboard comes with 2? Idk tbh). I'd expect it to be pretty expensive coin.
