Qosmio Laptops

Hi

I have  Qosmio X305-Q710

but I have a problem with the BLUETOOTH

this site tells it has

but I can't find it

and when I try to install the driver

what would be the problem ??

It says "please plug in the Bluetooth device and ...."

what would be the problem ??

yes the 701 has Bluetooth enabled. Only problem with it is the internet will be slower because both the Bluetooth AND Wireless uses the same signal so if your using wireless AND bluetooth it will cause some issues. Reason why is because your trying to connect a bluetooth device after your installing Bluetooth software/drivers.

Qosmio X305-Q710 

As the specs above show, you have the Bluetooth hardware installed.

Use Connect in Toshiba Assist to access the settings. See the section TOSHIBA Assist on p. 138 of the User's Guide.

   Qosmio X300 Series User's Guide

Windows Vista has its own Bluetooth support.

   Set up a Bluetooth enabled device

but I could solve it.

I don't find the Bluetooth sticker under my laptop  Is that a sign of the absence of the Bluetooth ???

If my laptop does not have an internal Bluetooth,Should TOSHIBA DO SOMETHING FOR ME ???

Perhaps you need to reinstall the stack.

I tried to reinstall the stack and this message

comes again and again.

I believe my laptop isn't equipped with Bluetooth

and Unfortunately Toshiba lied to me .

It's easy to find out whether the Bluetooth hardware is there. Perhaps it's malfunctioning.

Open Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and expand Network adapters. Do you see a Bluetooth device there?

If so, double-click it and tell us what Device status is.

No, there isn't a Bluetooth device below Network adapters .

There are just the Intel wireless and Realtek LAN .

So what does that mean ?

If in warranty, time for service.

   Locate a Service Center

Or you can just add an adapter like this one.

Bluetooth Spec isnt there and u wont find it on the laptop anywheres and you wont find it in the system config irther.  You need to go down to "Toshiba" in the start menu and install it before it ever shows up Turn off search for Bluetooth divice when you first install it. Bluetooth Device on the laptop uses the SAME signal as your wireless unfortunately.
