Qosmio Laptops

 Talked to the tech department.. Told them that I had two x in for repair and I was disappointed In the Engineer aspect of the  gaming machines.  When  the Toshiba Qosmio is fully loaded < extra hard drive and running two monitors... The x305 over heats and shuts down...OK so I can play a game for approximately 4 minutes.... And then it shuts off loosing all 4 min. Worth of play.Not acceptable... I bought these computers for high end gaming and most importantly for grand kids.  When they visit. I have\read in the forums this seems to be a regular occurrence. People sending there computers back and the problem not being resolved and then the warranty runs out and you got two 1,500.00 machines that have a nice paint job. They burned up my second hard drives that I just bought, yes the heat has destroyed 39% of my Seagate 500 gig hard drive.. And that is not acceptable I hold Toshiba accountable! When holding on the phone with for one and a half hours to speak to a tech named Susan Not Susan H. She said there was nothing she could do to fix the problem and asked me if I would like to talk to customer Relations? I said yes I would. He was on the phone with me for approximately 3 minutes and said there was nothing he cod do..Wha =t I heard the r  e man say was, sorry about your bad luck.. He said tech would have to deem the pair of x305 unrepeatable and he said that wasn't going to happen. Would I like to be transfers Back to tech  wowowowowo woo wow .. I didn't like . But said yes, so I waited another hour and a half to be connected back with Susan. 3 hours on phone so for and getting the run around.. Another tech answered and said Susan was on the phone could I have her call you? I said Yes she has yet to return my call. I have left messages for them and its been a week and nothing... I use the satellite for business and like any lap top if worked hard it will over heat. But come one adding a second hard drive and a second monitor to a gaming machine and can't play game .. I wonder at that heat ratio how long my lap tops will last?? Very sad should have went with number one in gaming alien w   e but I went for the competitor and long trusted business partner my satellite and Am so sad  I guess I loose 3,000 buxs plus a couple of 500 gig hard drives.. But they loose my business and respect and I suspect many of my employees 2!!!

1) 2 7200RPM HDD's in a Laptop, is asking for trouble. Congrats if you did that. When you said heat issues thats what comes to mind

2) Update DRIVERS. You can't expect to play games on stock drivers.

I haven't had a single problem with heat on my laptop i had for close to a year EVER and i have 2 HD's and updated all the drivers. I have one 320GB 7200RPM HDD on my primary HD and a 60GB 5600RPM HDD. No problems in heat, temps dont go above 45'C and their both SEAGATE HDD's.

I haven't had a single problem playing demanding games on high like Dawn of WAR II and Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising or CRYSIS for that matter and 2/3 of those games require a 2.4GHz Dual Core when i have a 2.0GHz Dual Core.
