Qosmio Laptops

I am having problems fixing a Qosmio F25-AV205 laptop. This system had a few viruses/malware that I removed

by slaving the HD and scanning with Avast and malwarebytes- replaced the Hd and now the system starts to boot, XP Splash screen comes up, then i get BSOD:

     STOP: C000021A  {fatal system error}

     The windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x0000034 (0x0000000

      0x0000000)  The system has been shut down.

I have tried to boot to the XP Cd: I get the "press any key to boot to CD" message, then the screen goes Black!

I can hear the CD-Rom running, but can't do a system repair.. I tried to boot into safe mode, safe mode with networking, etc.. system just shuts down.. So, any ideas would be of help.. I talked to Toshiba Technical support (sic), and this was less than worthless - therefore, since I can't "see" the usual diagnostics, I am stuck.

I did manage to boot to the UBD test programs Cd and ran tests on the MB, HD, etc - everything appears to be working fine.. I would wipe the HD clean and try a clean install if I thought I could SEE the display and move forward with a clen install.. Tried both XP Pro and XP-MCE disks.. same results
