I've recently lost the 60Gb drive within my Qosmio G15R laptop. Toshiba support provided 2 recovery CD's to restore after I replaced the 60 Gb Tosh with a 160 Gb WD drive. After a few days of struggling I'm able to actually load the recovery CD's and install the software. Upon first boot, I get a quick flash of blue and the laptop reboots. Next comes the standard We apologize.... screen. Safe mode yields the same result as does the last known configuration. BSOD (too quick to read). As a test, I loaded my copy of Windows XP home edition and it loads up and runs fine. Need some help on where to go next with this. I'm a little upset with Toshiba tech support on this. Restoring from recovery cd's should be a slam dunk with no problems.
