A105-S4021 Reformat after Virus attack

My Satellite got a virus, or virus's even with having Windows defender and Avast both protecting- The issue seemed to attack the user32.dll file (error code 0251 CMOS checksum bad, etc-Just kept restarting to the Windows XP screen,over and over again!)?
Anyway, had to reboot/reformat and couldn't! My machine has the partitioned hard drives and does not use a boot CD- I have been able to get hold of an "Ultimate XP by johnny" boot CD and have an operating system back and running, even can access most of my old files still on the laptop! Alas though, have lost (can not locate it) the partitioned hardrive with all the needed info for my Toshiba and it's version of XP.
Do I have to order the proper re boot CD from Toshiba, or is there a site I can go to to download this information???? Anyone else have a similar issue, or issues?????

I don't understand what you're looking for. Can you explain in more detail?
After you've rescued your data files, it seems to me it's time to restore the hard drive to factory-fresh from Toshiba's recovery media.

Thanks for the reply Jerry,
I suppose I would, but the recovery media was on the partitioned drive I can't get to- My laptop was one that did not come with a recovery CD-
Is it available somewhere to download do you know on Toshiba somewhere?

To order the recovery media, call Toshiba's Customer Service at 800-457-7777.
Have your computer's serial number and a credit card handy.
