Hello
I wonder which BUS memory's Satellite A305D-S6848, because I put 2 x 2GB DDR2 800 (PC64000) and I will work as 667 (PC5300). A sticker on the laptop says that the memory that comes with it is 3072MB PC6400.

According to the Detailed Specification Sheet for that model it uses PC5300 ram (667MHz bus) not PC6400. I checked with Kingston and that is the only ram they specify for it and Kingston is the brand of choice for Toshiba Laptops (and the only ram guaranteed to work in them).
I'm not doubting that the sticker says PC6400, but two different sources say PC5300. What is the original ram that came with the system? When you install it at what speed does it run?

I'm not allowed to discuss legal issues on this forum. The administrator has expressly prohibited me from doing so.
And for the record, the referrence to Kingston is for aftermarket ram. The ram that Toshiba uses at the factory isn't the same as what is available over the counter.
