Evening all, I recently purchased an A350, however I wish to downgrade to windows XP Pro.

After looking at the Toshiba downloads, the e-sata controller is not installed in the laptop so I downloaded the driver and installed when I hit F6 and loaded the floppy, however after continuing, windows finishes off on the initial install and still blue screens. .........Found Sollution!   Before you install the e-sata drivers, go to the bios and at bottom of first tab, go into settings and change AHCI to Comaptibility and XP should install as normal

It does install, Justin. But Windows does not perform as well with this setting.

To improve perfornance using the SATA drive, you should install the SATA-controller driver and then change the BIOS back to AHCI.
