I bought a Satellite A200 laptop on Nov 2007. Its was working fine for 2 years and all of a sudden its totally messed. First my display will be off for few minutes and after half an hour the laptop will switch off immediately.
When i gave to service center they told the display problem might be due to mother board problem or some cable problem.they found the display adapter was short circuited and charged me Rs 4300/- to change the part. The CPU fan was not fine and caused the other problem. While taking my laptop from service center(after 3 months of time - reason for late service - unavailability of the spare) he insisted if still the problem persists it might be due to mother board and may need its replacement which cost Rs 20000/-.
Now again the laptop is switched off automatically. When i called the service center he told me its sure of mother board problem.
I bought the laptop for Rs 53000/- and its life its just 2 years. I feel very bad for buying toshiba laptop.
I like to bring this one to some toshiba autorities(no use in bringing the point to them) so that in future they go for a perfect one. If Toshiba has any compliance forum please let me know.
I had very good option over toshiba now i am feeling very bad for having that option.
