Running win 2k on toshiba satellite A305-s6898

I have a usb storage device with win 2k and would like to boot my laptop (satellite A305-s6898) via usb with this os. At the completion of the first win 2k loading screen the computer freezes. Will win 2k run on this model and what can I do to successfully boot from this os.

Even if you could run Windows 2000 on that computer, you cannot run it from an external drive.
If you managed to install W2K on an internal drive, you'd still be faced with problems finding drivers.
