Serious A305 Problems I'm Having. HELP ME, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

Hello, I got a replacement laptop from Toshiba back in May of 2009. It is an A305 laptop. It was a replacement for a bad A205. Originally the A205 was for college and as soon as I got to college the laptop kept dying on me. Now that I am out of college now, this replacement laptop keeps dying and now Toshiba refuses to replace it. The laptop's warranty had expired while it was in their hands at the depot back in August and this laptop is only getting fixed on a technicality. This is now the fourth time since August that this laptop has to keep going out to get fixed. IT IS THE HARD DRIVE EVERY TIME. Is there something wrong with Toshiba's hard drives for this model? This is frustrating as the hard drive just died on me again and I got the box on the way to ship it out.
