Hi,

I have Toshiba Satellite A215-S4807, it has 2gb ram installed, i want to increase to 4 gb ram, is it possible?

Its AMD Processor.

Max Mem is 4gig total with 2gig in each slot.  Use Kingstons KTT line for best results.  Anything else might not work properly.  Go to Kingston to determine specifically what module you'll need.

It looks like the max is 4GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 RAM go to newegg.com to get the best price on memory get a 2x2gb Kit if you want i can recommend you the best kit from that website let me know

hey what is your suggestion for a good 2x2gb pack I want to upgrade my ram from the 2gb to 4gb and then upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate and make this old lappy a media center PC and hook up like a 1TB external for media and stuff

Like I said previously get Kingston KTT or don't even bother.  Go to Kingston to see specifically which modules you need.

In this computer can you install windows 7 (64 bit). Will it have any problems with the hardward and the drivers?
