I have a Satellite A55-S306 laptop with a cd burner/dvd reader and I would like to upgrade to a DVD burner. Is this possible?

Satellite A55-S306 

The P000399450 TOSHIBA 4X DVD+/-R SLIM DRIVE is compatible with the Satellite A55 series.

Be sure to get a driver. Windows XP cannot write to DVD with native software.
