I need to know which model I have.  I have gone to Control PAnel and system All I get L355

I am running Home Vista basic.  Sometimes it will lockup and only power off will reset.

Look on the bottom of the computer for a label. The model number looks something like this.

   Satellite. L355-S7902

Thanks I have a L355-s7915.  Now I need to find out why it will lock up.  Not sure if I am overloading it.  Not sure If I should installed XP?

What are you doing when it locks up?

Have you installed Service Pack 2?

   Service Pack 2 for Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista
