Hello everybody!
I have a Toshiba L305D Satellite laptop, 32-bit with 140 GB HDD. I would like to make another partition, only to be used for data (music, pictures, etc.) and the C partition for programs. I once tried with a third-party partitioner and I failed (I've done it couple of times in XP on my desktop and never failed), ending up with the recovery disks to reset the factory settings, losing all my data.
Can I make another partition with the Vista Disk Managment?
Thank you.

You should be able to right click the drive in Disk Management, shrink the active partition and then add another.
