Satellite Laptops :: all other models

Hello,

        I have a new Satellite L555D-S7912 laptop, and both the box and the specs state that it has an expresscard slot. All I have found so far is the front bridge media slot for plugging in SD cards. Where the heck is the expresscard slot that this laptop is supposed to come with??? Thanks.

That's a very good question.  It's listed in the Detailed Specs but it isn't shown on the Features Page of the Tour, nor is it listed any place in the User's Guide.  None of the pictures I have been able to find whow it eather.  Looks like it's time to contact Toshiba Customer Service about this.  We are just user's helping users here.

Hello and thank you for the response. Yes indeed, I see a small plastic strip on the side of the laptop, above the esata/usb port, and that "looks" like it might have been intended for an expresscard adapter to be installed, but either they forgot to install it in my laptop, or Toshiba totally misrepresented the specs on this laptop and I was sold an erroneously advertised product. I may very well be taking this back to BJ's for a complete refund of my money if that is the case, or maybe seeking advice from a lawyer for possible consumer fraud charges against Toshiba!!!! Thanks again for the reply.
