Anyone know any compatable RAM for the P500-ST6822? Is it difficult to upgrade the ram (difficult to get to)?

Do these laptops have the ability to upgrade the CPU at somepoint? I understand what I would order it with, but is there any compatable CPU's that I could replace the existing one with if I need something more powerful?

You need to choose from these options depending on how much ram you wish to upgrade to.

KTT800D2/1G     1GB 800MHz Module       
KTT800D2/2G     2GB 800MHz Module    
KTT800D2/4G     4GB 800MHz Module

Don't get ANYTHING else but these.

To get to the memory you remove one screw from the ram cover on the bottom of the laptop, remove the cover, then remove the old ram and stick in the new.  Your user's guide should show you where the cover is.  The user's guide is located on your hard drive in Adove Acrobat Format or can be downloaded from the Product Support Link at the top of this page.  Be sure to turn the system off, unplug the AC Adapter, remove the battery, then push and hold the power button down for a minimum of 30 seconds prior to removing the ram to prevent damaging it.

As for the CPU upgrade, any of the ones listed in the Detailed Spec for that system should work.
